Switching and Routing

Switching and routing are critical components in the transportation of data comunications. Switching and routing are performed at OSI layer 2 and 3 of the OSI model. This is a core competency that all NetEx consultants must attain. Since all networks have some element of switching and routing NetEx consultants must be completely familiar with the concepts of lan's, trunking, IP routing, and dynamic routing protocols.
